UPDATE: .uk domain name implementation

Following on from previous blogs, Nominet (the organisation responsible for the UK domain name registration system) has confirmed that “.uk” domain names will be made available from 10th June 2014.

As previously discussed, those with an existing “.co.uk” domain name will be allowed a five year right of first refusal to decide whether to take the .uk equivalent to their name.
