Henkel plans ‘targeted acquisitions’ to drive growth

By November 17, 2016January 29th, 2021For Business

Henkel said acquisitions would remain part of its strategy, after it spent $3.6 billion this year to buy North American laundry detergent maker Sun Products, known for its Snuggle brand.

It is great news for my clients and the economy alike to hear about Henkel’s acquisition mandate. Henkel’s goal is to double ‘digitially-driven’ sales to more than 4 billion euros by 2020. Henkel own a number of brands like Persil in their Laundry & Home Care division, Schwarzkopf in Beauty Care and Loctite in their Adhesive Technologies division.  I will be busy meeting with clients and contacts who are in those divisions and are looking to sell.  Complimentary businesses who will also benefit from this news of  growth in this area. Having just acted for a purchaser of a plastics packaging company, this news makes for a welcome opportunity – the Henkel products will inevitably need more packaging.Email me if you are looking to sell (or buy your company or business) : hat@glaisyersllp.co.uk
