GLAISYERS EXPANDS WITH NEW FAMILY DEPARTMENT
Law firm Glaisyers has expanded and now has a family department with the appointment of Solicitor, Kathryn Hulmes.
Having qualified in August 2006, Kathryn spent seven years working as an Associate Solicitor for Rawlison Butler LLP, in Sussex, before returning to her northern roots and joining Gorvins Solicitors in Stockport.
She specialises in advising clients on divorce and civil partnership dissolution, financial implications of relationship breakdown, pre and post nuptial/civil partnership agreements, cohabitation disputes, disputes involving children (including paternity issues), financial settlements for children and domestic violence and emergency injunction proceedings. She has developed a particular niche in assisting individuals whose children have been abducted or taken abroad.
As a member of Resolution, Kathryn aims to deal with family disputes in an amicable, logical, constructive way and adhere to the Resolution Code of Practice, which advocates a non – confrontational approach when seeking to remedy family difficulties.
Having completed the Resolution Accreditation course, Kathryn is a Resolution Accredited specialist, with particular expertise in dealing with cases involving domestic violence and complex children matters.
