This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded department and to work on matters across a wide variety of sectors. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in predominantly respondent-focused work.

This position will provide the opportunity to develop your skills across the full spectrum of employment law working with local, national and international clients.

You’ll be working within an extremely supportive and friendly team, alongside a dynamic group of lawyers as part of an exciting and varied legal practice. Responsibilities

  • Providing expert legal advice and guidance on a wide range of employment law issues including employment contracts, settlement agreements, protected conversations, ET claims, disciplinary and grievance handling, whistleblowing and TUPE
  • Creating and maintaining strong client relationships and providing a high level of client service
  • Participating in business development activities relative to your level of experience

Requirements

  • Balanced commercial approach
  • A confident communicator
  • Capable of developing and maintaining relationships with clients
  • Good drafting and case management skills
  • Strong Communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • At least 2 years of employment law experience in a reputable law firm or in-house role
  • Applications from candidates with additional language capabilities, particularly European languages are encouraged
