An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Corporate Solicitor to join our rapidly growing team. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of post-qualification experience.

This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded department, and to work on corporate and commercial matters across a wide variety of sectors.

This position will provide the opportunity to develop your skills in Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Reorganisations and restructuring,  VC and Private Equity Investments, share option schemes, debt financing transactions and joint ventures; working with local SMEs, high-net worth individuals and national and international corporates.

You’ll be working alongside a dynamic group of experts to help shape the team and support existing partners, driving a resilient and varied legal practice. We’re looking for someone with at least 4 years of Corporate/Commercial law experience. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as excellent career development opportunities. Flexible working is available for this role, as well as part-time (4 days) being considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Providing expert legal advice and guidance on corporate and commercial matters to clients
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts and other documents related to M&A, investments and other corporate transactions
  • Taking a leading role in transaction management
  • Supervision and training of junior team members
  • Drafting and advising on commercial contracts
  • Creating and maintaining strong client relationships

Requirements

  • Balanced commercial mindset
  • Strong Communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take responsibility for supervision and training
  • At least 4 years of Corporate/Commercial law experience in a reputable law firm or in-house role
