A New And Exciting Opportunity To Join Our Growing Corporate Team

Celebrating our recent move to the heart of Manchester’s Commercial District in Spinningfields and as a result of a period of exponential growth, our Corporate Team is looking for a Dealmaker to work on an eclectic book of work acting for a wide range of entrepreneurial SMEs, OMBs, High-Net Worth Individuals and National and International Corporates across a number of sectors.

Based in either our Manchester or Liverpool office you’ll work on M&A Transactions, Corporate Reorganisations & Restructuring, VC and PE Investments, Share Option Schemes, Debt Financing Transactions and Joint Ventures as part of a close-knit, driven and commercially-astute team to support the Partners continue to grow our business via external instructions as well as on opportunities referred in as a result of Glaisyers’ membership of ETL Global, one of the largest international networks of accounting, tax, legal and audit sectors.

You’d be joining a business with a focus on its clients, but also on its people and a set of share values – balance, growth and shared ambition. We’re looking for someone with at least 4 years of Corporate experience, who will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as excellent career development opportunities. Flexible working is available for this role, as well as part-time (4 days) being considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Providing expert legal advice and guidance on corporate matters
  • Taking a leading role on transactions and helping to supervise and train junior colleagues
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts and other transactional documents
  • Creating and maintaining strong client relationships

Requirements

  • Commercial mindset
  • Strong Communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take responsibility for supervision and training
  • At least 4 years of Corporate law experience in a reputable law firm or in-house role
  • Applications from candidates with additional language capabilities, particularly European languages are encouraged
