Employment Law Helpline
You will receive unlimited advice on all day-to-day employment law and related HR issues such as disciplinary and grievance handling, sickness absence and poor performance. This is provided through a helpline operated by qualified solicitors who provide a same-day response to all queries.
Contract & Staff Handbook
We will review your existing contracts and policies and either update them or provide you with new contracts and staff handbook. We help you keep these up to date to ensure compliance with all changes to the law and carry out annual reviews of all of your documentation.
Legal Advice Privilege
Any advice you receive from us will benefit from legal advice privilege which means it won’t be disclosed in the event of any Tribunal proceedings, giving you peace of mind about any discussions we have.
We are also able to provide you with insurance cover against any compensation, damages and legal fees you may incur as a result of a claim brought against you or your business. Unlike other schemes, there is no 51% prospect of success condition in order for your insurance to apply which enables us to provide you with genuine commercial advice.
If you are dealing with an employee who is off sick or unable to perform some of their role as a result of a health condition, obtaining an occupational health report is crucial in determining how best to deal with the situation. We work with BUPA to arrange occupational health assessments, arrange appointments and provide all necessary documentation to be given to employees in advance of any assessment. We will also advise you on the appropriate steps to take upon receipt of any report.
We offer training support to help you stay up to date with changing employment law. Our spring and autumn seminars are free events for all our Absolute HR clients, delivered by experienced trainers and are suitable for business owners, directors, HR Managers or those handling HR within the organisation.
