Business Admin Apprentice

This position will provide the opportunity to develop your administration skills and provide flexible business support to contribute to the delivery of business activities and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Opening incoming post, recording special/recorded deliveries, sorting and scanning post.
  • Outgoing post, franking and taking to the post office
  • Hand deliveries and taking banking to the bank.
  • Archiving, sending files to off site storage, recording on database and retrieving files.
  • Support for administration on reception ie deeds, hand deliveries
  • Database – housekeeping of database.
  • General admin support – photocopying, faxes, filing etc
  • Photocopiers refilling them with paper daily and reporting any error messages.
  • Assisting with office move arounds
  • Assisting with project work.
  • Reception holiday cover answering switchboard, greeting clients, preparing refreshments.
  • General housekeeping of mail room and business hubs
  • Stock check of stationery and ordering when needed.
  • To undertake any specific training when required to do so and overall have a responsibility towards self development.
  • To abide by all Health and Safety regulations.
  • Any other reasonable request made by senior management.

Requirements

  • A good standard of education: Maths and English GCSEs, grades A-C.
  • To be smart in appearance and manner and have a willingness to learn administration skills in a professional office.
