Chris is a Senior Solicitor and is head of the firm’s Private Client department. After studying law at the University of Liverpool and qualifying as a solicitor, Chris made the move back to his hometown of Manchester and worked for a commercial firm in Cheshire before joining Glaisyers in January 2011.
By putting clients at ease when dealing with sensitive issues Chris helps them plan for the future by making Wills, Trusts or Powers of Attorney. After their death, he takes a practical approach to help their family with the Probate process to pass the person’s assets on to their family or friends. Chris has lots of experience in dealing with people’s affairs and sorting out complicated family or financial situations.
Chris takes a special interest in clients who don’t have mental capacity to manage their own finances, through illness, injury or old age. He is a registered Trust and Estate Practitioner, a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a member of the Court of Protection Practitioners Association.
Chris’s free time is mostly spent with his wife and daughter, and going on holiday with family and friends. As a keen amateur photographer he represents a local photographic society in local and regional competitions.
