Scarlet graduated from John Moores University in 2023 with a first-class honours degree in Law LLB, followed by achieving a distinction in the Legal Practice Course with a Masters of Laws. 

During her time at university, Scarlet volunteered for the charity Support Through Court in Liverpool’s family and civil courts, assisting individuals who needed access to free legal services. She also volunteered at LJMU’s free legal advice clinic and completed a clinical legal education module, achieving a 90% grade. 

Since beginning her training contract at Glaisyers ETL in September 2024 after attending the firm’s vacation scheme the previous year, she has gained valuable experience in the Private Client, Real Estate, Commercial Litigation and Employment teams, applying the skills developed during her LPC. 

Scarlet qualified as a solicitor in 2026 while working within the employment team, where she assisted both employers and employees through a wide range of issues, including disciplinary and grievance handling, executive terminations, restrictive covenant enforcement and day-to-day employee relations.
