Having qualified as a solicitor in early 2023, Pete forms part of Glaisyers’ Creative, Digital and Marketing department providing legal advice and assistance in Intellectual Property, Privacy Law and Media and Entertainment matters.

Pete has a particular specialism in music law, stemming from his extensive experience in the music industry as a singer, songwriter and guitarist in a variety of musical outfits. His most successful group, VYNCE, have achieved over a million online streams and featured alongside internationally recognised acts such as Noel Gallagher, Blossoms, Echo and the Bunnymen, McFly, Kaiser Chiefs and the 1975.

Pete also worked closely with Liverpool John Moores University in developing a pro bono Legal Advice Clinic, specifically providing advice to musicians who might not be able to afford the costs of legal services. He still takes time to work with the clinic, and supervise the students taking part in the Legal Advice Clinic.

Outside of work, Peter continues to perform, write and produce music. He also likes playing and watching football, generally keeping fit and being as close as possible to the sea.
