We aim to differentiate our service offering by the bespoke nature of our services.

Some clients prefer full partner involvement from beginning to end. Some prefer partners who provide the key input into the matter and are happy to deal with our more junior colleagues on a day to day basis. For some clients they need more support as they have little experience in this area. Others require more strategic advice and some just need to document the deal.

We act for clients both small and large – having the strength and breadth of experience to deal with very large and complex transactions. Our clients are all over the country and increasingly we act for international clients who are venturing into or expanding their UK commercial property portfolio.

Our team has worked on transactions in every sector of the market including hotels and leisure; housing; offices; factories; retail; student and education; key worker accommodation; and green energy projects.

Our team has worked on transactions in every sector of the market including:

Mick Hewitt’s expertise is in commercial and residential property development, secured lending and the care sector, Eric Quirk specialises in the retail sector and Sarah Milligan in complex leases and strategic landlord and tenant advice.

Get in touch

Proactive, practical and pragmatic.

We will give you all the facts, and discuss the options, even if that means we are advising you to walk away from a particular deal. Sometimes we will suggest restructuring a transaction, for instance, to reduce the risk or overall costs. Whatever it is, we do not just blindly follow heads of terms without considering them in the context of a particular transaction and the client’s ultimate requirements.

Our extensive network of contacts built over the years also allows us to introduce clients to other opportunities, if that’s what they are looking for.

We are looking for a long term relationship with all our clients and we can only do this if our clients enjoy working with us. We build from our real world legal and personal experiences to gain the trust of clients. They can always reach us and know our advice isn’t standard property factory advice.

Our main reason for instructing Glaisyers is the refreshing way in which they take a commercial, as well as a legal, view of the projects on which they work with clients. They are problem-solvers with a ‘can-do’ attitude who really understand what we want to achieve and the realities of operating as a business.

I have been impressed once again by Glaisyers, who carried out extensive due diligence on a problematic brownfield freehold site with great efficiency. I consider Ross Wellman, David Marlor and the rest of the team to be my colleagues on this project.

I look forward to working with them over the next 18 months as we progress the site to completion and establish it as the model for future suburban developments by TRG.
