I graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 2020 with my Law Degree LLB Hons and continued my studies at the University of Central Lancashire by studying for a Master of Law in Legal Practice, graduating with Distinction in 2021.
During my studies I developed a keen interest in Insolvency, I tailored my undergraduate dissertation towards this by looking at Football Clubs that became Insolvent, in particular, Bury FC, and how further measures can be introduced to prevent this from happening to other historic football clubs. I also furthered my understanding of Insolvency by choosing this subject as an elective in my Masters.
Following my Graduation in September 2021 I joined a Manchester-based Conveyancing firm where I developed my legal skills, offering clients exceptional customer service and ensuring they remained up to date throughout the sale and/or purchase of their property. Having joined Glaisyers in July 2022 as a Restructuring & Insolvency Paralegal, we cover all aspects of restructuring, business recovery, and corporate and personal insolvency law. Acting for banks, asset-based and other secured lenders, as well as insolvency practitioners and those being pursued by insolvency practitioners Outside of work I volunteer as a contributor to the ‘GolBezan’ Podcast, a well-established footballing page.
By doing so I have created a strong network with Footballers who currently play at an international level and many highly reputable sports agents. I am also the Chairman of a local ‘Open Age’ Football team, my tasks include the running of all club finances and administrative work. I aim to keep the club involved with the local community, most recently I organised a charity run with our players and raised over £1,000 for a Bury-based charity.
