Glaisyers advises on Visualspace buy-back
6th October 2009Manchester-based law firm, Glaisyers Solicitors LLP, has advised Visualspace Limited on a share buy-back from two major shareholders, for an undisclosed sum.
Bolton-based, Visualspace Ltd is the UK arm of the Visualspace Group of companies, also located in China and Hong Kong. The group manufactures a wide range of personal goods from their plant in China including glasses cases for some of the UK's major chains of opticians.
The share buy-back deal sees directors, John Anderson and Nelson Jim leave the company to focus on other business interests. Fellow directors, Paul Taylor and David Rudd will now assume complete control of the company and its Chinese subsidiaries, VS (Hong Kong) Limited and VS Wuxi (Daily Product)Limited.
Speaking on the deal, John McMuldroch, corporate partner at Glaisyers, said: "Following John and Nelson's tough decision to leave the company, all parties worked well together to make the deal happen quickly and efficiently.''
