Chinese visit to Glaisyers is huge success

On September 18th 2009 Glaisyers played host to a 20 strong team of lawyers from China. The day was organised as part of the strong relationship which has developed between Glaysiers Solicitors LLP and Sinopec, the largest producer and marketer of oil in China.

The delegates were welcomed by Nick Johnson and John McMuldroch, both Partners at Glaisyers, and also Marketing Executive, Fred Stott, for refreshments, and were then treated to presentations from newly qualified solicitors Hannah Jenkinson and Sarah Young.

The presentations proved interesting for all concerned, and the delegates were fascinated to learn the many differences between becoming a lawyer in England and the system in their native land.

Nick Johnson then proceeded to inform the delegates a bit more about Glaisyers itself and the workings of a law practice in England, and this was followed by lunch. All in all, the Chinese representatives thoroughly enjoyed their visit, and it is hoped this visit will be the precursor for many more.
